PFCL25 Linear Stepper Motor for Accurate/Precise Positioning

Apr 18, 2012

For accurate and precision positioning, Nippon Pulse offers its PFCL25 linear stepper motor. Nippon Pulse's linear stepper motors provide a cost effective solution to designers who need direct linear motion. Easily integrated into applications, the Nippon Pulse linear stepper motors simplify conversion from rotary to linear motion.

With four coil ratings, three thread pitches, and bipolar and unipolar windings, the PFCL25 linear stepper motor offers 11 force ratings. Users can get forces (at 200pps) between 8N and 31N. Forces are variable depending on thread pitches, coil rating, and steps per revolution. The PFCL25 is offered with either 24 or 48 steps per revolution. The motors are available with coil ratings of 5V and 12V, either with a bipolar or unipolar winding. The thread pitches offered with the motor are 0.48mm, 0.96mm, and 1.20mm.

The outer diameter of the motor is 25mm, while it featured effective strokes of either 30mm or 60mm. rated currents of 0.10, 0.31, or 0.33 A/phase are also available.

The PFCL25 linear stepper motor is ideal for, but not limited to, biomedical equipment, fluid dispensing, valve control, data storage devices, microtiting tables, pumps, and semiconductor wafer handling machines. In addition to the 25mm linear stepper, Nippon Pulse also offers a 35mm motor, the PFL35T.

Nippon Pulse America, Inc.is a fully-owned American subsidiary of Nippon Pulse Motor Co., Ltd. of Tokyo, Japan. Nippon Pulse offers various controllers (boards and chips), drivers (boards and chips), and motors (tin-can, hybrid, and linear servo) that cover a wide range of motion control applications.
