Inside Sales - Technical Support

The Inside Sales-Technical Support position is an entry level position with a starting salary of $30,000 per year. The position reports to the Sales Manager. The person hired for the position will serve in a technical support position to the rest of the sales department.

Main Duties and Responsiblities:

  • Work closely with Regional Salespersons to support their goal of meeting their sales targets.
  • Provide technical support to regional salespersons, reps, distributors, customers, and prospects.
  • Field customer calls and determine the type of assistance needed.
  • Assist Regional Salespersons with quote generation to customers and prospects.
  • Determines how new leads should be handled, and shares the leads progress with the sales department by updating the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering OR an Associate’s degree in engineering with 2+ years experience in an engineering related job is required.
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts.
  • Strong written and spoken communication.
  • Foreign language skills are a plus, but not required.
  • Perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
