Linear Stepper Motors (LINEARSTEP® Series)

PFL, PFCL series LINEARSTEP® motor ranges in diameter from 25mm (less than 1 inch) to 35mm (1.38 inches) is tin-can type linear actuator. LINEARSTEP® motor offers direct linear motion without any mechanical transformers therefore allows design engineer to design a simple system at a fraction of the cost of conventional rotary stepper motor. Available in three pitches on the thread lead screw (0.48mm, 0.96 mm, and 1.2mm), a choice of various windings on both unipolar and bipolar configurations, the PFL, PFCL series offers the design engineer the ultimate in flexibility to match the applications requirements. Upon request, connector on the end of motor flying leads can be added to the motor providing a complete assembly.

Rotary Stepper Motors (Tin-can/Hybrid)

Tin-Can Rotary Steppers (PF, PF T, PFC, PFC T, & PFC H series) range in diameter from 25mm (less than 1 inch) to 55mm (2.17 inches) and are permanent magnet type rotary stepper motors with superior cost and performance. Hybrid Rotary Steppers (PJB series and PR series) are high torque motors with superior response characteristics. Available in sizes from 20mm (NEMA SIZE 8) to 57mm (NEMA SIZE 23) with step angles of 0.9 deg or 1.8 deg.

Linear Shaft Motors

S series Linear Shaft Motor is a brushless direct drive tubular linear servomotor consisting of just a magnetic shaft and a moving coil assembly (forcer) which is controlled by the flow of current. Basic design concepts of Linear Shaft Motor are SIMPLE (two parts and a non-critical air gap), NON-CONTACT (No wearing and maintenance free) and HIGH PRECISION (ironless design and all the magnetic flux is used). S series Linear Shaft Motor is available in eleven (11) different shaft diameters, ranging from 4mm to 50mm; stroke lengths of 20mm to 4.6M, achievable peak force of 2340N, and a maximum continuous force of 585N. S series Linear Shaft Motor allows the design engineer the ultimate in flexibility to match the applications requirements with the most cost effective motors.

Synchronous Motors

PTM series synchronous motors range in diameter from 25mm to 55mm, and are low speed permanent magnet motors ideal for timing applications. The single direction (shaded pole design) and reverse direction (phase-shift by capacitor) motors allow automatic self-starting and dynamic braking. With internal impedance protection, the shaft can be stalled continuously without the danger of burning the coils. A variety of plastic and metal gear heads on all models of PTM series synchronous motors are available to meet the requirements of most applications.
