NP3775 Bipolar Stepper Motor Driver Chip

The NP3775 is a switch-mode (chopper), constant-current driver with two channels: one for each winding of a two-phase stepper motor. The NP3775 is equipped with a disable input to simplify half-stepping operations.

Linear Station (All NPM Products)

This Cartesian gantry system is a bio-medical handling system. There is a multi-drive system on the X-axis where a Linear Shaft Motor (S160T-350) with two forcers for two independent movements is used. The Y-axis is a parallel drive system where two Linear Shaft Motors (S200T-200) are used. Two Z-axes used NEMA size 17 hybrid motor (PJB42S48B14) with lead screw to move up and down for specimen aspiration dispensing and tip disposal. The electronics to control/drive Linear Shaft Motors and the Hybrid Motors are also our products.


LINEARSTEP (Non-Captive) Pump Application

A PFCL25-48C4-120 non-captive LINEARSTEP® motor (shown on the right) drives a pump to aspirate and dispense a liquid. A hollow lead screw shaft is on another PFCL25-48C4-120 non-captive LINEARSTEP® motor (shown on the left) so that the plastic tube goes through and is connected to plastic tip.


LINEARSTEP (Non-Captive) X-Y System

Two PFL35-48P4-120 non-captive LINEARSTEP® motors are used to demonstrate a sample X-Y system set-up.


Linear Shaft Motor Gripper Application

This movie illustrates a “Multi-drive system,” which uses one Linear Shaft Motor (S080D-200) with two forcers to perform individual movements. In this case, the two forcers move toward each other to grab a plastic sample tube. The sample tube is then placed into a holder and released. The holder is being driven up and down by tin-can stepper motor (PFCU25-48 gear-head) with cam system.


LINEARSTEP Gripper Application

One common longer lead screw shaft and two PFCL25-48P4-96 non-captive LINEARSTEP® motors operate as a gripper to grab plastic sample tube. The plastic sample tube is placed on a holder where a tin-can stepper motor (PFCU25-48 gear-head) drives up and down with cam system.


Linear Shaft Motor, Mulitple Forcers

S160X-300 Linear Shaft Motor with four forcers is shown. Because each forcer can be controlled/driven by their own electronics, four different movements can be achieved with one shaft.


MCH-3 and LINEARSTEP in Syringe Application

Motion Checker MCH-3, a palm size controller with built-in integrated driver circuit, controls and drives a non-captive PFCL25-48P4-048 LINEARSTEP® motor. The motor plunges on syringe pump to dispense.
